Well basically they only repainted the tail and kept the body on the SNBA A319. So I don’t know what they will do with Virgin Express’ 737’s. I hope they’ll keep the light blue belly and orange line.

Peter that’s not really a choice a business traveler from the West would make? However it would be a unique experience. People I know flew with them to New York from Brussels and had much more leg room than friends of thel had on Sabena. But customs found it very strange that Western people flew with that type of airline, and their luggage was completely searched.

I use the Microsoft Force Feedback 2, but a few months ago the system that detects if your hand is on the joke failed. It now detects it all the time, so when I’m flying on autopilot or when I don’t wont the FF, I have to pull out the power. But I’m already using it for about two (or is it three?) years, so it worked fine very long.

EDIT: I cleaned it with a toothpick and it works now. Dirty work!

Thomas Cook is more than TCX, there is also Thomas Cook Belgium and Thomas Cook/Condor. Don’t say anything wrong about them as long as you didn’t flew them. ThomasCook Belgium offer scheduled (not charter) flights with a high class of service. They operate all A320’s. Holiday airlines haven’t, aren’t and will never offer a service equal to a flag carrier. I flew on a Boeing 767-300ER a few days ago of Thomas Cook operated by Condor, and couldn’t complain about it.
Next time, please say Thomas Cook UK before judging on other airlines you’ve never flew on.

Have you all forgot the Canadair Bombardier C-series?! But those are maybe a bit too small. What’s wrong with their current 737’s? I think the A320 series will be chosen.

The only airline I can think of using the 757-200Freighter is DHL. Do you know others? What about the 767-300Freighter?

The airport is not close to the beach so some spotting won’t be allowed by my parents. Our hotel is in Ammoudara, a village 5 km West of Iraklion, the airport being 3 km East. Maybe if their’s a bus line to some spotting location, but I doubt it, and the Greek are probably not familiar to spotters so maybe police will get nervous:).

That is very likely as they are probably now succeeding in seizing their assets. An other crew will have to be found to fly the aircraft back to Ukraine as the company will probably be shut down. The Ukrainian government is a bit in trouble now.

When is that “helper” engine used? It’s engine lives can’t be too high, as the normal engines will have to run at a high power?!

I didn’t find one there, and that doesn’t surprise me. Why would i find it at a flightsim website?! Do you think I can get them at Antwerp airport?

You’d think Air France could do with a few water salutes ?

That won’t clean them, they are so dirty!!
Nice pictures, how’s their current financial situation?

It’s also hard to say they are larger/smaller, because they don’t fly any route they both fly, except for a few, but Ryanair flies to cheaper airports.

I find it offensive that cabin crew hide behind the galley curtain talking about their passengers, often making sweeping generalisations based on how they look rather than how they behave.

Like it never pops into your head when walking on the street like “shave yourselve” or “what are you wearing”.
