This has also been considered with the 777, but wasn’t continued because of the massive floor strentghening that would be necessairy, increasing gross weight, decreasing payload.
The space between the pax ceiling and upper fuselage is mainly used by airconditioning pipes etc. I wonder where those will go if the space becomes used.

The socalled tax free shops are total ripoff now. Like those perfume shops or so, it’s just the same prices as outside the airport. I only buy things at an airport when I really need them, or when they are cheaper (rarely).
Exactly. When you really need it, prices are astronomical.

That looks very realistic to me. Boeing’s old trick comes again: re-engining and stretching the frame with minor aerodynamical improvements and newer cockpit.
    I’m not saying that’s bad!
That would bring pax capacity and range to…?

I know it’s not clean, but it is for Paint! It’s an upper deck stretch plus a small forward fuselage stretch to keep balance.

Do they have a choice? They made sure that the building is safe for that part. If we can guarantee that to the passengers, then there is no problem.
Paris must have been running very chaotic and crowded now without the new terminal?

They can design scenery and all because that’s necessairy in every game they create. But when it comes to drawing panels, gauges and textures, they are very unreal, just like the flight models. We’ll need add on packs for ever!

Accidents will happen before something will change in the free flight of military aircraft. Always when something happens, people start thinking.
I agree, some sort of safety cord should be available. Just three or four cords to hang horizontally in front of the exit. The question is if this will be used by the crew.
Imagine falling out of the 747 upper deck door or soon the A380 upper deck. Could kill you!

Good for them and Airbus. Do they still have Boeing 747-200’s?
Belgian radio said that the order ensures that Airbus will be the biggest commercial aircraft builder for the next two years. (How the hell can they predict that, if someone places an order with Boeing the situation could change)

I only take CNN rticles because I don’t want to translate the more accurate articles from VRT. I know CNN isn’t actual and accurate.
But, I think the media is exagerating. I mean, hundreds died yesterday in Irak, hundreds daily in Sudan, and today hundreds died in Asuncion, Paraguay. But still yesterday the first headline was the gas explosion in Ghislenghien.

Latest updates: 16 killed, 4 missing (probably burned and lost). Bodies had to be identified by DNA.
A probably cause: construction work at a road nearby the crater caused the leak. Not confirmed!
Yesterday a pipeline of 11 meter long weighing 1 ton was found 200 meters from the crater. The army transported it somewhere unknown for investigation.

Imagine you have to get out of your car and have to run for the heat. A few people were burned inside their cars.
A flame of half a kilometer high burned for half an hour. An eyewhitness that has a company in the neighbourhood says it felth like an earthquake. It was hallucinating.
It is still very hard for firefighters and ambulances to operate in the area, as roads are covered with debris, and the heat at the location is still very high.

People, I had a look at the videos that have been published online.
The cause is unknown There are no probably causes, It is not known. The only thing we know is that the fire began at a leak, but we don’t know how and why the gas ignited.
Belgium’s prime minister Guy Verhofstadt arrived a few hours ago from Toscane.
Patrick Dewael (national cases) was the first to be at the location this morning. Rudy Demotte (people health) returned from his holiday in Bulgaria as well.
