Thanks Damien, hope your CF card shows up.
The Alpha is on roll out, notice he’s waving 😉 Either that or it would have been an impressive one handed take off 😀

And some newer bits + pieces

Cubana used the IL62 in to LGW on a summer schedule until the noise regs caught up with it, 2001 I think was the last time it operated. They then used AOM Dc10’s until they went bust, then used anything they could get their hands on including Yes TriStar’s and have now settled on Novair A330’s.
Orient Thai are operating the “offical” GHA flights, the flights have been direct but are now routing via DUS and are now normally late
Paul
The Ghana flights are being operated by Thai Orient B742’s; HS-UTJ normally.
Paul
Many thanks guys.

Flights were good, friendly crew and so on.
Flight times MSE-AMS are 35/40 mins so its a real rush for the crew to offer a trolley service. On the outbound we did an orbit over the north sea which Im sure was for the cabin crew to tidy up after the pax. On the inbound to MSE with a small number of pax we got the ten minute to land warning whilst still eating/drinking cabin crew trying not to hurry us too much to finish food and drink 😀
The 06.15 dpearture to DUB had around 50pax on board, the 06.15 to AMS had approx 70 pax. The return from AMS at 18.05 had less than 30 pax on board and the arrivals hall at MSE was locked when we got off it 😉
So not historic but an amazing sight

And a few more:

A couple of Denny from me too.
