Strange. When Germany build up it’s army, all world is complaining the Germans are marching again. The Huns will invade the world. When Germany does not invest all their money in military, folks complain again that Germany is not spending a lot of money. What do you expect from Germany?

    Dear Folks!

I am sure, some one of you know it. Are there any information about how every pylon of the Eurofighter can be stressed? How much can be loaded on any of the individual pylons?

Seems, that Germany does not need low level penetration any more. No one of the alternatives is able to perform in low level like Tornado (180ft over terrain in every weather, close to Mach1, over a long distance). No other jet perform this smooth riding in extreme low level. So, it makes no sense to advertise other jets for low level penetration.

MiG-25 was an interceptor and not an escort fighter.

The biggest mistake of kurd militias is being commies.

I am not communist, but it’s time that western world accepts other ways of life than their own…

The day of low level are over. That’s because the modern fighters are optimized for A2A combat and the wing load is too low for a smooth low level ride. They can go low level for a short distance but not for some hundreds of miles like Tornado or F-111 or Su-24 ect…

In the 80ies, it was impossible to penetrate WP AD in medium level. The AD was too dense. The losses would have been high regardless the penetration hight. But in low level, the Tornados could benefit from the terrain in Europe to mask their flight path. From one masking hill to the other masking hill the Tornado would have been exposed for a view seconds only. Too fast to bear the weapon and track the Tornado before it disappears behind the next hill. That was the theory and it works in Europe, even today. It works in other parts of the world with highly defended areas and hilly countries. But it doesn’t work on flat desert like Iraq.

This map seems not to be very accurate or actual.

Remember, Assad didn’t necessarily know of the attack. There were hacked emails from his correspondence to his generals (IIRC) and in them he expressed doubt about some of the claims re. his jail/detention center abuses, saying in essence “oh this sounds like propoganda, we don’t do this”. Point is, the Syrian government is not a centralized, all informed powerhouse today, not by a longshot.

Is there an evidence for your claim? Links?

You must think different. 50% fuel is that fuel you have in target area. That does not mean you fly off with 50% fuel only. With more fuel you can fight longer. Your opponent is forced to break when his fuel is too low. This is an advantage of the aircraft with more fuel but equal performance.

Very nice pictures. By the way, why not doing an aviation art section here?

I am crazy? Is my monitor calibration wrong? The H6 is light grey and the J20 is dark grey.
