I remember NZZ from day trips to Croydon on my bike in the 50s, they were happy Days, nice to see it’s still about,
So have Ryanair bought a prototype 737 from Boeing and not bothered to have it repainted?
it’s not new they’ve had it a few years, knowing them they got a good reduction for keeping it in Boeing colours
some great shot there, not the normal run of the mill common visitors
I do like the B744,
do you see many Atlas Air in Manchester, as you say It’s a bit over kill
but thinking about it what else would they use
the Titan for me too, not only a 757 but it’s got to be the greatest colour scheme too
the DC6 looks stunning so does the Lightning, Red Bull do seem to put a lot of effort into their aircraft
Great pics, nice to see Air France keeping up their reputation as having the cleanest fleet! 😀
why are they always dirty?,
you would think it would be in their interest to keep them clean

don’t really want to be pedantic but it’s Bentley not Bently,:)

Fabulous! but can you answer my question as to why the wings were painted and not polised?
Jeff
I would think it’s because of there being too much reflection into the pilot’s eyes from polished wings
looks to me like a DC6, 3 bladed props, the DC7 has 4 bladed ones
the kits I remember were made by Frog and were available into the 50s, they had rough cut out parts in balsa that you had finish
one from my front garden under the approach to 27L/27R Heathrow,

. This plane had a Lufthansa callsign as I was listening on a scanner. Do Lufthansa use third party planes? The lighting was bad due to heavy cloud cover.
yes Lufthansa often use other airlines,
this particular 737 belongs to Privatair and is a long range low density club class aircraft, Lufthansa used to use it Frankfurt-New York
