I would think it’s because of there being too much reflection into the pilot’s eyes from polished wings

the kits I remember were made by Frog and were available into the 50s, they had rough cut out parts in balsa that you had finish

. This plane had a Lufthansa callsign as I was listening on a scanner. Do Lufthansa use third party planes? The lighting was bad due to heavy cloud cover.

this particular 737 belongs to Privatair and is a long range low density club class aircraft, Lufthansa used to use it Frankfurt-New York
