Heres a photo of one example of the current KLM fleet…you will have to look long and hard for a more fitting registration on any type of airplane…

If you liked the burgers at Maho…you should try the burgers and gyros at Marty’s Gyro…in Simpson Bay…the best on the island!!!
We sound the siren twice when we fly over on approach for landing..then Marty will have 2 cheeseburgers, medium well with garlic and fries ready in 20min…..GREAT setup!!

    Ok..I’m off

    Fly safe

I just meant that I don’t see 747s without winglets much…the European ones it the only ones so far. Getting spoiled with 744s I guess.

To nitpick….again. I know the -400 was intended for the brits with a Hispano, but if you take an airplane and stick a different gun in it..isn’t it then developed further? Or is it just a modification?? Are they mutually exclusive? Where is the border drawn between the two?

    Honestly curious.

A wartime joke for you Phantom II.

    Q: What is a P-400?
    A: A P-40 with a Zero on his ass.

(the -400 actually being a development of the P-39)

Just read in a Norwegian newspaper that they have found the body of one of the pilots. Didn’t mention the aircraft or the other pilot.
    RIP

How about the Commonwealth Boomerang?? Designed in weeks, buildt and flown in less than 14..and still did a good job…mostly ground attack..but still.
Maybe not the most underrated…but the fact that it is hardly mentioned would make it count?? Right?

I personally think it proves that with imagination you can even make the Harvard/Texan look good 😉

Why is the rear cockpit overpainted??
Is it just for this show, or are these aircraft used as single seaters?

“The -109 was flown by many aces, namely because so many were built”

Although there is probably some truth in that statement I have seen plenty of interviews with german “Eksperten” where they stated that they actually preffered the -109 over the -190. One compared the 190 to a broadsword…and the 109 with a Rapier…smaller, needed more skill…but VERY VERY deadly in the right hands.
