I was well acquainted with John Agnew & would often stop & chat in the street or at the shows with him & was very saddened to hear that he passed away. He was a very fine chap & did a lot of hard work to keep things alive at Rougham.
I only heard the news about next years events via friends & not directly from those who now run the Rougham estate.
I was just hoping to hear from any body who knew otherwise, or any possible news that other organisations would be getting involved for next year.
Whatever news comes, I wish them all the best & to those who run the Rougham Tower museum.
Most excellent to see this truly amazing man in flight!
That hands free shot of him snapping you with his camera is the best Wallis photo of him I have ever seen. I am jealous! 😀 You should send that photo enlarged to the Flixton museum to add to their collection of photos & artwork!

Fantastic shots as usual! Really love the upsidedown Alphajet!
Keep em coming!

Fantastic photos helped by superbly favorable weather! What a great day it was & a stonking performance by that F15 pilot!

Some superb photos thanks, excellent to see as usual & especially since I couldn’t get the day free!

Some stunning shots there! I was lucky to get an opportunity to visit on the 3rd, only from 12 to 3 oclock, but boy was I glad I did! That TR9 performed an absolutely mesmerising display as I cycled back to Whittlesford station, the rail workers there, were thoroughly enjoying it! Shame I missed the Mk 1, must have appeared earlier in the day. Couldn’t drag myself out of bed early enough!
Ahh just noticed the addition of the fin art and the marking correction!
Simply stunning photos as usual, love the Saab 105 shot’s the head ons of the Vulcan & the IL76 which is very photogenic. The reflections caught on the Rivet Joint are stunning and yes very hamster cheeked! Definitely photography to aspire to!

Awesome photography! Your efforts well and truly paid off!
Your photo of Big Beautiful Doll with prop blur is absolutely stunning.
She bowed out in true style. Flown by an exceptional pilot.

Holy moly! That looks like an airshow in itself! Looks like it’s going to be another stunning weekend. That Lightning looks fantastic!
What a truly fantastic day and a big cheers to all that put their hard work in to make this happen. I regularly go to airshows and I know that these aircraft don’t fly, but the atmosphere at your shows is something else. To pack into one day all that action and co-ordination is superb. One thing I would like to see one day is a lovely big super hangar or two, so that you can store your well kept historic gems away from the elements. Maybe one day, if a lottery winner or two is feeling generous!

Fantastic photography
What a stunning set of photos from a great day.
I was also lucky enough to be there and had a 450D with an 80-400mm Sigma and I still can’t seem to get pics as sharp & well defined as yours. Either that or I feel not worthy. What gets me is that you really do know where and when to be to take those pics, especially to be prepared for those flypast shots. I had earplugs in after that Lightning run, so couldn’t hear those Seakings coming until the last minute. People looking skywards along the crowd line gave me an Idea that something was coming. For those head on Bucc shots I couldn’t have been that far away from you!

Yep turned out to be another superb day despite the strong gusts and the occasional sprinkle. I was actually glad that we had some dramatic clouds to shoot against, and I always stop down now to get those higher shutter speeds.
Those shots look a lot better than mine though.
Excellent work and yes very quick to post!
It’l take me the rest of the week to go through mine!
Now that is a stunning and unexpected shot of XH558 – really love that view of it!!
Was a pleasure to have seen her up close – especially at Rougham last year. Will we see BBD at Legends in the future then? Or will she go onto a US owner?
