Apparantly I heard that more people die of bee stings and shark attacks combined every year than people being killed as a result of an air accident. I feel at lots safer when in the air. not sure why but theres a total calmness about it.

Steve,
Who would that be?
Right ok.
A blonde joke which isnt a one liner.
A Blonde boards an aircraft at Stansted. She sits down in your seat by the window. what do you do? Tell her that all the seats in the centre isle are going to Paris.

Ladies and Gents,
My opinion of all this is that it aircraft should be operated how the owner feels they should be operated. Aircraft such as R4118 and other early war types (except the H-75 from what I have seen) rarely engage in Aerobatics thus keeping stress off the frame and limiting chances of damage to the frames.
All warbirds (that I know of) are flown by people who know what they are doing. Restorations are done to a high quality standard allowing the aircraft to have a long an healthy life. for example Princess Elizabeth was brought here in 1997 and flew only a few times before restoration. I can only Imagine that TFC felt she wasnt restored properly first time round. Now after an extensive period of time they must have got her near perfect. And congratulations goes to them. Its not the planes that bother me. It bothers me when a Plane may have been hastily put in the sky and then you are putting a pilot at risk.
Either way I believe all warbirds should be given a chance to prove themselves even if they are the last of their breed.
