Thank you VeeOne, The tnt was taken in the correct white balance, other other two arnt hence the yellow cast. Still learning with the night shots but as they say, practice makes perfect :p

    Thank you Joemicroman 😀

Thanks ThreeSpool, the ATP does look abit small compare to the others, they was a Piper parked to the right of it too out of frame, so it wasn’t the only smallest plane on the ramp :diablo:

No problem Culpano, still haven’t shot a DHL 763, they don’t come in on a Friday night as the ABX 763 does the flight 😡 Thursday nights will be your best bet to go, Aerologic and TNT 777’s in, the first time ive seen a 777F and they are pritty impressive to see 😀

Thank you Culpano, the UPS doesn’t park on the DHL ramp, it goes down to the eastern ramp where i shot the TNT 777, when i was shooting the Saudi the UPS departed to Cologne 😡 The TNT is in every night doing the old A300 flights, Belfast – EMA arrives at 9.30pm and departs to Liege at 11.30pm, It stops in September to be replaced with something else, no idea what though 😎

Only five flights a week with Spanair 🙁

I really do like this airport for the traffic it receives, I missed all the good stuff due to flying on a Saturday but i really did enjoy my time here. The spots are abit of a challenge but that only adds fun into the hobby. My flight home picked a delay due to G-SUEW going tech and being replaced by G-NIKO A321, only 8 hours late home though :dev2:

Hope you enjoyed this report from me, bearing in mind i have written this at 1am in the morning so don’t pick on my faults 😉 The next booked trip for me is Geneva 😀

    Spot3

For this spot, i had to hire a bike out. It took me from my hotel a good 20mins to get there due to a nice climb uphill. This spot on a bike was really hard to get too, they is a dried out riverbed next to it, walking across it seemed to be a little wet, so be careful if you do go anywhere near it. The spanish spotters know how to create a spot, with a few wires bent in the fence  The spot though is so close, for line up shots it beats Lanzarote hands down, for arrivals its a little rubbish with aircraft high above making there way in. Anyhow on with the photos …

Just to show how close the spot is, i made my own spotting location shot 🙂

Hey … I think that mini report is a very good idea ? the map showing best spotting / photo positions is brilliant …. I think it would be good for someone from each of the various airports / airfields who regularly post here to, at sometime, make up, and post a similar google earth map with points to view marked ?? for their own local, to aid other visitors ! this could be included in a post, as above, with other photos. ????

Without a shadow of a doubt, thats a great idea! It will help for oversea’s airports too, ones where not familiar with, for example i had trouble at Milan Malpensa when i went there 🙁 I shall do a similar report in about 2 weeks when i get back from Furtventura 😀

Many thanks for the comment Keith 😀

LBA also got a few diversions, some ryanairs, a BMI A319, BA A320 & a B727! does anyone no of any other diversions to LBA?

I missed it as well! Departed yesterday back to STN at 1650! 😡 We had a Aer Arann ATR in morning from Manchester plus a few over Blackpool and Manchester divs night before, nothing too special though 🙁 We almost got a Wizz A320 and a few Easys from Liverpool but the refuelers had gone home by 11pm and they wanted a uplift, so they went Luton instead 🙁

Many thanks guys, the equipment used is a Canon 350D indeed with a 70-200mm L glass F4, the spot down by 32 touch down is my favourite by far. If you don’t mind shooting threw fences then its the best spot going. The conditions arn’t really the best down there at the moment though, the snow is knee deep still. Have to get a old pair of wellys on to tackle it :dev2:
