What brought me up with a jolt was post #13 and the realisation that there were people posting here who had never seen Concorde fly because they are too young!!

Here’s a thought. Next month it will be ten years since BA retired it’s Concorde fleet.

Unfortunately, only caught the end of this on R4. I recall W V-T talking about this on the BBC Parkinson talk show in the early 80s (with Clive James, if I recall correctly!) The show last night was more than just the W V-T recording which is available on CD (and to download). Just hope it’s on again at some point.

It looks good. Is there a write-up anywhere available explaining the make-up of the airframe, Eg. Hastings, original, new-build and how it all goes together?

yes, “Home is the Halifax” by the late Ian Robinson MBE, published by Grubb Street. A very good read.
