good call! I watched the film again and you are correct.
Little know fact about the War Lover, the top turret gunner, Sgt Handown, was played by Robert Easton who supplied the voice for Troy Tempest’s sidekick in Gerry Anderson’s “Stingray”, Lieutenant George Lee ‘Phones’ Sheridan. Sadly past away just last December. The War Lover also has Ed Bishop who appears in Gerry Anderson’s “UFO”.
