Brilliant Photos Tom. I definately think the B737 looks better without “Eyebrow” windows.
Very nice photos Mark. That BA arrival over the sea definately is my favourite.
Very Nice picture! Personally, I’ve never been able to find a photo of an aircraft at the time that I was on it.
He’s referring to the very first post on this thread, when Tom was talking about KLM’s £300 return compared to Jet2’s £37 return.
Rubbish!! I didn’t win a penny! However theres stilll next week with an estimated jackpot of £125 million!!!!!!!
[QUOTE=cloud_9]If I won Euromillions (I haven’t bought a ticket yet!)…
2. Donate £10 million to charities (proabably Cancer Research and Oxfam!)
=QUOTE]
Ive bought two tickets.
I would also donate a large some of money to two charities and they are the MS society and Sue Ryder care (Wheatfields). These are two charities that my grandma supports.
Also I’d buy myself a car (I’m learning to drive at the moment), probably something like Aston Marting DB7. Also i’d buy a some houses as I would like to be able to visit other countries. I’d give some to my parents and sister, and other family aswell as friends.
Id like to do my PPL and learn to become a pilot aswell, and maybe buy a plane such as a Beechcraft super king air.
Other than that, I’d just generally live the life of luxury.
Good Luck to everyone thats bought tickets.
To the NCL-LHR route generally; is there a set pattern of aircraft types on the route? Last time I was on it, it was A319s; now I see nothing but A320s. Do 757’s ever come in anymore.
Thats the same as Aberdeen. There used to be atleast one B757 per week day to Heathrow but not anymore. London Heathrow seems to be Airbus 319 and 320 only. London Gatwick is always B737-300 and 400.
Whether BA have taken there B757 off due to disposing of them or whether its because of competition from BMI? I dont know.
Also BA have recently announced that they are cutting there ABZ-LGW flights from 4 x daily to 3 x daily. That is due to lack of demand though.
Happy Birthday! Bonne Anniversaire! Have a great day!!
I’m a northerner, and alot further up from MAN. My nearest airport is Aberdeen. I live 45 miles north of Aberdeen, in a little place called Banff.

I’m still waiting to hear when Fly Globespan are going to launch there 14 flights per week from ABZ that they promised to start last year.
Bit late, but Happy Birthday!
3rd place: For me it would be BMI. Ive flown them many a time from ABZ to MAN, and LHR. There aircraft were clean, efficient and they were on time (even early). Seats were comfortably, and they have these lovely cheesy snacks!
2nd place: 2nd place for me has to be GB airways. Flown them from LGW to AGP and FAO. Cabin crew are very polite and friendly. There aircraft are modern, leather seats are extremely comfortable and have in general have never had any problems with them. ( I have to say that they have one of the best inflight meals I have ever had: lovely pizza fingers!)
1st place: First place for me has to be Lufthansa. Had a lovely set of flights with them from EDI – FRA, then FRA – FAO and return. It is the only airline that I have been on that gave me the option of what meal I wanted in advance, to ensure that I got it. Also there main meal is lovely – Cheese and tomato pasta thing. Also there crew can have a right laugh with you, unlike some airlines i’ve been on before and crew have been like programmed robots!!
Happy Birthday, Bonne Anniversaire!!
I remember a case like this a few christmas’s ago, which ended up in Red cross shops closing because muslims wouldnt visit because of the christmas nativity scenes, which ended up meaning muslims wouldnt shop there. In the end, Red cross shops took down all there christmas decorations in order not to offend muslims. With no christmas decorations up, this offended christians and meant that alot of there shops nationwide had to close due to lack of customers.
