    So i see that the chromed highly polished P-40 that was pictured in the Planes Of Fame thread is UK bound TFC i wonder???

    Talking of upcoming events at Duxford, a provisional list for the May Jubilee airshow is now on the IWM site, copied below:

    Already confirmed flying participation includes:

    Typhoon, 6 Squadron RAF Leuchars
    Hawk, 208 Squadron RAF Valley
    Tucano, 72 Squadron RAF Linton-on-Ouse
    King Air, 45 Squadron RAF Cranwell
    Tutor, 115 Squadron RAF Cranwell
    Lancaster/Hurricane/Spitfire, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, RAF Coningsby
    Solo Lynx, 815 Naval Air Squadron RNAS Yeovilton
    Hawker Nimrod, The Fighter Collection
    Hawker Fury, Historic Aircraft Collection
    Harvard, The Fighter Collection
    Sabre, Golden Apple
    Spitfire IXT, Air Leasing
    Spitfire V, The Fighter Collection

    Further participation will be announced in due course. All flying is subject to weather, serviceability and operational commitments.

    Always great to see the Sabre!!! Cracking start there should be a great shiw to kick off the Duxford year!

    If TB252 is the other Spitfire in their hangar, a Mk XVI I think, it’s stored pending NH799 being finished.

    I don’t believe the Mossie is headed to the UK now, the delay has put the owner off the idea last I heard.

    That Mossie looks superb, i hope it makes its rumoured appearance over here on its way to Jerry Yagens HQ!!!
