    from what i can understand from the complex and safety issues regarding the seavixen and vulcan is that it as back up systems in place in the case of a failure ram air turbines for powering the systems comes to my mind ,things the lighting does not have . but as been said if and when the vulcan flys and does so with no problems then this could open the caa’s eyes open a bit and may look again if certain criteria are met .i hold great doubt the caa would ever grant one a permit but would love to be proved wrong and see a vulcan flanked by a single or pair of lightings .
    would that be a crowd puller or what

    yes all was made at baginton hence the new industrial estates main road name is called siskin drive ,just of the tollbar island have you looked in the museum at the airport they have lots of old pics from them days im sure if you asked they would sell you a copy or two.

    next time you go to a airshow or other event and see a big blue drum next to the xh558 tent put a £1 in it or more if you like but a £1 will not hurt you 809 views to this thread thats £809 it’s that simple its up to you not the HLF or the TVOC now so dont walk by the bins and think its going to fly i could go on allday but will not preach ,

    im sure the engine problems of the 262 at first was the fact that the germans stole the wrong alloy paper work plans from the british was something to do with the magnieseum alloy we had invented and the german spies got the wrong ones they was not putting the right ammount of chrome in to the alloy .
