Is that the most expensive one ever??

Whoever organised the hype, sorry, ‘PUBLICITY,’ did a pretty good job as it has been all over the media for weeks.

High values placed upon these aeroplanes is not neccessarily a good thing, since the insurance premiums rise, hourly operating costs rise, airshow display fees presumably rise etc.

If they are so rare and expencive now, somebody should build some new ones to the original drawings, a sort of exact replica that perhaps could be operated at a lower cost and…………..oh, hang on

    Good point.
was this just a carrier bag of bits at the start .
seems a lot for a replica, and as pointed out will have a impact on others,

Sadly the weak £ as seen lens prices rocket up . allmost double in price in some cases from prices this time last year.

Look on EBAY and look at some of the 2nd hand stuff.
some good canon 350D 400ds with the kit 18-55 lens etc going for a few hundred pounds.
you will need a lens then of at leats 75-300mm basic models will set you back around £200+ at the present hight street prices , thou once again look on Ebay for a good 2nd hand model.

Thanks guys ! is anyone else a bit concerned about the lack of anything American flying ?

No its way to early to be checking whats going to be flying. best to check the month before the show is the safest bet, even the last week before the show can have aircraft cancelled or even new last minute surprises.

The chap that was killed was a huntsmaster.
The gyro had been flying over a hunt that day and filming it from above,

seems the hunstmaster went on to the airfield to confront the pilots , but he did not see the blade at the rear and was struck .

Mould protection spray will keep rust or oxidiation from metals.
been useing the stuff for over 20 years . we have had chrome faced mould tools sprayed with the stuff left in a damp warehouse for years and with no problems. Rocal is a supplier , comes in a spray can . and in diffrent colors . the color is just a guide color so you can see where the stuff as been sprayed.

wipes of with most common degreaseing solvents.

Could be the way the layout of the 2 engines are set in the airframe.
one of the engines is set way back down the fuselage to the other engine . this i think as a much longer reheat pipe .

could be wrong thou i’m certain 320psi will give the reason .once he reads this topic.

The Picture Styles menu won’t actually make a difference in this case, Vulcan558. Although you can adjust sharpness in there, this doesn’t seem to be a problem with general sharpening of an image. It’s more to do with either the lens or technique.

    Paul

You do not know much about the camera or picture styles i gather.
suggest you try each style and see .
