regarding the ATC and painting with out of date paint
would you like to fill in the extensive paperwork that would need to be done, complete the risk assessments for every single thing the cadets would be doing
convince the commanding officer of the squadron you had in mind
then convince the wing commander of the wing that squadron is located in
then the region complete with group captain
THEN headquarters air cadets to let them have cadets paint an airframe with out of date paint
if your willing to do that then good luck, i hope you succeed
i have not personally been to newark, but the reviews ive read, the pictures ive seen, the volunteers ive spoke to on here set a standard that all voluntary museums should adhere to
a quite Pi**ed off CI from the ATC
