its not looking likely that myself and a friend will be attending this year, not with a cockpit at least….havnt been able to get down to work on it for a few weeks due to my mate being really ill, quite possibly too much work to do in time for the fest 🙁

i was highly amused today by 4 of the local yobs in one of their boy racer cars, pulling up nose to nose with my mates car, we were sitting outside my house and they decided to come threaten us, a few days previous, myself and said friend were driving around my area when they decided to awkward in front of us in a people carrier (containing 7 of them) so obeying all the rules of the road etc…we made a safe overtake on them

now back to the current day, the biggest one in the car( a different car) opens his window and says in north eastern mackem accent “ere….that car’ll never overtake this one again (about my mates 1.2 corsa) so dont do it..or we’ll smash yer face in, i swiftly replied, you were all in a people carrier the other day to which i got “were we….norr…oh wait ayee we were….wey anyway this is a 2 litre turbo (talking about a 1.6 peugeot 206) then drove off looking rather confused

we just sat and laughed for a while at their stupidity

been quite a few people rescued/killed there, when im on sentry, its a really relaxed, calm place (bar the bang sticks chucking lead down the range) if your ever up this way and the red flags arent up, take a stroll along the whitburn/south shields coast and see what you think
