    1st one…from the Tower ” you lot must be bloody small Crew but yeah…your cleared for full stop” not a good one but its the best i could come up with lol

    2nd one…” with all the problems 558’s had over the restoration period..the groundcrew decided to go for the manual take off :p

    no offence intended to TVOC or anyone else connected with 558..youve done a cracking job…keep it up

    Yesterday…spotted a Westland Commando (marines Seaking) overhead of NEAM…was around 3ish i think…anyone any ideas as to where it was headed?

    Whirlwind looks aprox 50% through the proccess of stripping, shes coming along nicely

    Classic Car show at NEAM next week end 7-8th June, so if your into classic vehicles, triumphs, cortena’s etc get yourself along Standard museum admission applys im told £3.00 Adults 1.50 Kids and Senior’s

    oh and the weekend after, we have our Fathers Day Event with world Record Attempt, Hornby Airfix, Mini’s, Vulcan Bikes, Cockpit Access, Northumbria Gliding Club’s Astir Single Seat Craft and many more exhibits, hopefully a good few events

    for some reason (maybe in a previous life) i recall a 10 minute flight in a Bell 206 jetranger but my first flight as i remember was as an air cadet in 2002, Grob Tutor from RAF Leemings AEF section…(checks 3822 Cadet Record book) G-BYWT 11 AEF

    First Glider flight was ZE524 Grob Viking out of Catterick/Marne Baracks…i love approaches at low level over the A1 That was also in 2002

    i cant make it this year..but my friend has just joined the RAF and she’s currently based at cosford..i think shes looking forward to working it :p
