just got a message telling me one of the learners at the centre where i occasionally volunteer, has been found dead at home after the police forced entry, seems he passed away in his sleep, he was a daily user of the centre because he wasnt able to get out and about much, no family, we were the closest he had, the centre was such a loud place when he was in ( deep booming voice)

its such a shame, the centre isnt going to be the same 🙁

thats the 2nd one from the centre we have lost, only a few months apart 🙁

i haven’t experienced it, but have read/heard several stories regarding the same thing, several from “windows” or “Microsoft” claiming they can see an issue with your pc and need to fix it, i was/still am under the impression that, unless you are bloody good at hacking, you need to actually have a peer program like remote assistance open and connected, to be able to see anyone elses computer (which is what he was trying to get you to connect too)

scammers it seems will try anything these days 🙁
