This evening my family got news that my nans brother has cancer of the kidneys and probably won’t recover from it.

Hi mate, had the first of the 2 funerals yesterday, which i think will be the hardest out of the two, as she was a great friend who was there for me every time i needed someone, i almost broke down at the crem yesterday, i only just managed to hold it together, this is what i wrote as a tribute on her facebook wall “i keep seeing your picture appear on here and i sit expecting some witty comment or innuendo at any moment, i kept thinking i was seeing you at the centre today and at the service, this is actually killing me so much knowing that what im expecting is never going to happen anymore babs, this is pretty much where you would tell me itl be alright and make me smile and be happy again, i really wish this was the case right now because im sitting here in tears 🙁 i really will miss you, but il never ever forget you or what you did for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart, i love you x“

on to the 2nd one now 🙁

found out tonight that another friend i worked with has passed away, of the same damn illness, i really am at breaking point now 🙁

my friend who i previously mentioned, sadly passed away yesterday (Sunday),
it hasnt sunk in yet and i haven’t shed a tear…im worried that when it does finally hit me, its guna hit hard 🙁

i completely agree mate, my “biological father” had a heart attack a few weeks ago, unfortunately he survived (no im not being crude, he is an actual full books worth of profanities) and yet my friend is dying from a cancer which we thought had been caught, in a matter of months it has spread from one area to pretty much everywhere, to the point she can barely remember who people are 🙁

I try to treat her like that but its just hard, thinking about how she was not even 6 months ago all bubbly, winding me up and chasing me about the workplace trying to kiss me and squeeze my bum etc (she was a little bit saucy 😀 ) i saw her yesterday and it just broke my heart, she looks so exhausted and depleted 🙁
