I´ve seen the one with those many RAF-planes already (at least I think so). But I don´t know where? It was the background of an airshow-poster oder yearbook or something like that …
I can see both pics.
May I be the first one to congratulate? 🙂

Airfix Vulcan B.2? Here we go:
Looking at the blue chair in front of the TSR I notice the for first time how huge she is. I´ve never seen pics of a TSR-2 to compare the size … WOW! (Can´t wait for the Airfix-Kit.)
They won´t be a real bargain. The last picture of a crashed Spitfire (YT-L) went away for 166€!!!
Silly people, rightclickin´ is far cheaper … 😎
Far too far away 🙁
All those burning bridges that are falling after me, all those lonely feelings and a burning memory … everyone I left behind each time I close the door, burning bridges lost forever more …
(I never knew if I got the lyrics right … hope they make sense.)
Das Boot
love the film, but very tongue in cheek, as far as accuracy goes theres loads of films you could critisize, what about Das Boot when they are bombed at the end by what looks like a flight of heinkels
The Heinkels were actually a flight of Harvards. :p I´ve got a book about the making of the movie, have to look for it this evening. I remember, the author of the book was never glad with the movie, he said it´s too much Hollywood-Style. For example the scene where this guy makes the banana-dance … rubbish. You have to read the book.
Back to Kelly´s Heroes, the scene where Capt. Maitland(?) “liberates” the yacht, he asks himself (in the German version): “Will it fit inside a B17?”
The markings are from the spare box.
And here the completed model-kit:
Nope, not Matchbox – it´s brand new. See here:

The best USAF advert movie (about a post war subject) ever made!
Sure … even if they had to use Navy-Jets 😉
BTW: The german title reads “Luftschlacht um England”.
