that sort of thing happens here every few months – i live near a UAS (university air squadron) they often land short by about 300 metres in a field etc.
A few random images of RIAT 2005:
I cant believe they’ve said that. They have took our ‘technology’ with the Harrier, hawk and other other things, i cant see how they can say that.
My father was stupid enough to actually reply to the message as he was new to the net.
He was sent birth certificates, photos and solicitor letters etc. But i told him to just ignore them from now on and they’ve now stopped. These people are professionals.

wtf?????????
Rick.
He says he had the camera recording for half an hour. My understanding is he caught it by accident.
“i filmed about 30 mins of it, and when i looked at the film on the pc later on, i found this. this is just a frame from the film, sorry about the quality. is a trick of the camera, or is this realy possible – red lightning – is it lightning?”
He didn’t even know he’d taken it. He hasn’t once suggested that he pinointed ‘a bolt and then got a central video shot.’ If you read he’s not even sure whether it’s lightning.
Now, unless you have any good reason for doubting his word, why don’t you let it go?
BTW, you have some nice shots in your album, but some of your wedding guests appear to have lost their feet?

Adam,
Firstly i didnt see the comment about leaving it running for 1/2 hour and if that really is a bolt of lightning then i am really am amazed. Could you upload the clip to a site?
Kev,
If you were actually there you would of noticed that there was equiptment below their feet as i wasnt the official photogrpaher there, if i had known you had a foot fettish then i would of maybe included the feet.

well i am sorry – but how could you pinpoint a bolt and then get a central video shot. Practically impossible – i dont believe that is real.
Take a look at this page: http://www.geocities.com/~special_effect/glow_generator.html
Gives you some of the things AlamDV can do.

Of course its not real – being a part time photograher i would guess its done by a video editing programme called ALAM DV or sumfin like that.
With it being so close it would have either been bigger or there is no way someone could take a picture that close – you wouldnt be able to pinpoint a bolt like that. If need be i’l reproduce a replica.
The storms were bad though wernt they!!!

Are you sure your not thinking of the cargo version?
Rick

I dont like doing my own stall turns – but loops and Barrel rolls are amazing.
What ive always wanted to do is link them up like an airdisplay, but i dont think thats gonna happen.
