I have RC Aircraft in my garage that is bigger than that thing.. and can carry more payload probably :D:D
PS: If it was Russian it is a very short range one.. id say the “opperators” were less than 500 meters away… so shooting the little ****** took one brave or stupid policemen, as T72 could be targeting him as he did it 😮
Puddle Jumper instead??? These babies can take out Motherships 🙂

Proven against UFOs

Rough Translation:
Serbian AF completes refurbishment of combat aircraft bringing 5 MiG29 to active service, as well as number of MiG21s , G4/5 and J22/21.
Total number of flight hours for crews has been on the increase since 2002, and is up to 30hrs in 2008, but is still well short of desired levels of those in the western counterparts. Major problem for the Air Force is lack of two seater ACs across the range of all models, in particular with migs. Only single MiG29UB remains putting large pressure on that particular Airframe.
On visit to Batajnica AB, Minister of Deffence D.Sutanovac took opportunity to take a ride in MiG29UB. (speaking of unnecessary use of the airframe ) “It was fantastic he said, we went for a low level flight up to 4000m and reaching 1100 Kmh, as well as flyling low almost at tree levels, it was exilirating”.. minister also made comment of how “tight” it was inside cabin. “I was supprised just how little space there is inside cockpit ” (for me to squeeze my big fat butt ).
He repeated comitment stated earlier in the year during Airforce day, of acquiring one modern squadron of combat Aircraft by 2012. “It will be difficult allocating funds as these kinds of procurements are costly, but it is essential for the safety of our skies and future of combat airforce that the steps be taken” . It is expected that procurement of new combat aircraft will have to come from specially allocated fund, and not annual deffence budget (well dhaa ).
It was revealed earlier that Airforce is looking at procuring squadron of 12-14 new combat aircraft in line of Mig29M, JAS Gripen, F16, FA18.
PS: From news yesterday Serbian Airforce took steps to purchase remaining aircraft pf Airforce of Repulika Srpska, aircraft of type G4/5 and J21 are in particular desired as large number of them are two seaters, something that Serbian Airforce has in short supply. Same type of negotiations are ongoing with montenegro for 10-12 G4/5.
Hmm dont know about the led comment… as far as polonium goes… i dont think its fair to put Espionage related matters in the context of everyday events. “knocking out” enemy agents or as in the mentioned case, your own who defected is something that is a part of covet ops cold war or not. Im sure CIA DASA and MI5, have done their fair share of “eliminations”, despite what they claim publicly.
I think this thread has gone more of course than Colombo when he said “Oh look India”.
Only in a dogfight?? Yup one more for 29 with HMS … by a whisker over western contemporaries … SU27 is more dangerous at any other distance other than WVR , but 29 can out turn it in close.
Its a tactical move.. As much as people hate to admit and not taking anything away from Barak as person, there are people who simply wish to see historical mileston of African american president… and there were as many who wanted to see same with Women. The second group is also quite cheesed off that their candidate is not nominated. So McCain is saying .. hey How about first Women VP, its a step towards right direction. He is trying to nab as many angry Sen Hillarys supporters as he can, and this cant hurt him in Womens vote.
Another issue for McCain is his age… i mean lets be honest, he is already beating the dealer at odds when it comes to average life span of american male. So somewhat younger Palin will provide some ofset of that.
So there is some logic in his madness.. but its madness non the less as many people will say Palin Who??? Picking relatively unknown candidate is double edged sword, as there will be less effective mud that dems can sling at her, but she is also now having to explain in few months time to voters who she is and what she stands for..
In summary.. a bolt out of a blue sky.. I knew he would not pick Romney or Huckabee, but this one cought me off guard 😀

Had a chat to a friend in Ukraine .. all sort of stories flying arround there, the most bizzare one is that Russian have bodies of two Americans who they suspect of being agents assisting Georgians.. they were supposed to be KIA when Georgian forces got surrounded in Kodori gorge.
I have to admit when i first heard of this few days ago i dismissed it as typical crap that usually starts circulating when these conflicts occur. Putin coming on CNN and basically telling them in the face that they have evidence of US citizens involved puts a new spin on it… would he made such outrageous claim if he had no evidence to produce.. will he produce the evidence now that response from West was “you are a lier” … it will be interesting few days ahead.
I know about those laws, but here is my scenario. Say one nation discovers some sort of very valuable resource on Moon.. and say finds very rich deposit which covers area about 10km radius. Could one Nation mount legal argument to claim whole area??
The closet current example would be say if Shell finds in international waters somewhere area of 10km radius rich in Gas.. and plonks couple of platforms in there.. can the prevent any other company from deploying their own platforms in the zone, or does anybody have right to access so long as they are not droping their platforms 200 yards next to yours, which would be safety Hazard.

I’m gonna assume that the Israelis and Muslims will disagree about the “no religious wars” bit, but for what it’s worth I think they should be a thing of the past, the West is just too afraid to use the right kind of force necessary to put an end to it.
But I do see where you are going with the wars over resources. The next major war won’t even be fought on the Earth, I don’t think. As technology progresses, populations increase, and resources dwindle, there will be a greater push among the developed nations to find a way to exploit other bodies, beginning with the Moon. That’s where the next major war will be fought, over real estate on the surface of the Moon to combat resource shortages and overpopulation on Earth. This won’t happen tomorrow or in ten years, but that’s the road we’re heading down. It has nothing to do with ideology or politics, but with the natural growth of the human race.
It does bring up a very interesting moral question. Let’s say the USA develops (way down the road, bear with me) technology to travel efficiently and frequently to the Moon and other planets and populate them. Do we have a moral obligation to share this with the rest of the world, or are we to act in our own interests first, basically leaving the rest of the planet to fend for itself?
Absolutely No moral obligation what so ever.If you develop something its your right to use it for your benefit… well except for maybe Cancer Vaccine or something like that.
However say US builds a lunar base on the surface.. and start exploiting any ore or resources (H3 anyone) … then 20 years down the track China or Russia or EU arrive at same capability, and decide to follow suit. Can US say “No we claim Moon” , or “We claim this part of the Moon,” … or is it one free for all.. come and get it if you can , so long as you dont build your lunar mine like right next to mine.
Interesting debate topic.
PS: There is some dude in US selling realestate on the moon.. he has no legal position to do this what so ever.. but people have still forked out more than 5milion to him for basicaly piece of paper that says you now own this block of land on the moon. With so many idiots on this planet how come i have not figured out idea to get rich of them… :(:( … Maybe ill set up company to sell billboard/advertising rights on Comets :D:D

Yeah.. i recall more recently one going up .. cant remember details.. just recall vaguely seeing big fire ball on news footage.
Like SoC said.. lots of ammo and explosives in one place, shoddy handling and safety procedures.. now and then one accidents are bound to occur . Though timing is peculiar to say the least.
Oh boy.. more trouble. Would it be premature to start “Military Situations in Transdinestrststststsria ” thread 😮
EU leaders are due to hold a long-scheduled summit with Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko on September 9 in the French Alpine town of Evian.
Like Georgia, Ukraine has a pro-Western president who wants his country to join NATO, a move away from Moscow’s sphere of influence which has angered the Kremlin. It also has a large Russian-speaking population, but is much bigger than Georgia.
The Crimea, in southern Ukraine, hosts Russia’s Black Sea fleet at the port of Sevastopol under a lease that runs until 2017, and most people who live there are ethnic Russians.
Yushchenko has angered Moscow by suggesting Kiev may not renew the lease.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev warned another former Soviet republic, Moldova, on Monday not to make the same mistake as Georgia by trying to seize back control of its breakaway pro-Russian region, Transdniestria.
