Thanks A-29, the Block 50M will be assigned to Grupo 3 to Iquique in the north and the MLU nothing official yet but i supposed that wil be detached in Iquique too.

Group 10 is just a transitory stage, like the “tradition” of the Fach (i remember that when arrive the Mirage 50 in the 80’s they came to Pudahuel base too).

    GRIPEN

Alrite, Condor, i take back my last post. And in no way do i disput the fact that more F-16s r coming to Chile. But at 60 mil a piece, dunt you find it rather expensive? I mean the standard quote for Gripen is 30 mil.

    30 Mill!!! Give me 20 please!!! 😮

60 Mill for each Peace Puma…you must include system introduction cost’s, training of the support crews (not only the pilots), ground equipment, new tools, new test beds (for the engines for example), etc.etc.etc.

The next Block 50+ Batch obviously will be cheaper than the first.

    Cheers

    CFTS

Last I heard those big things can’t be removed.

They seem to be part of the fuselage to me.

Your wrong, the CFTS can be, with a trained crew, be removed in 1,5 hours.

    Cheers
