Its a race with which she has ‘ruled the waves’ and the two best things about it, she aint French and even better she aint a Yank.
She should get all the coverage she can get, as apparently there is a stupid game happening tonight where grown men get payed more money per month then most of us in here get paid a year. Every week football news gets thrown down our necks by the brit press, and other sports occasionally get a mention.
Im a big rugby fan and player, and our 3 teams for Chippenham are either top or near top of there respective leagues and we only get one page coverage in our local rag. Football meanwhile get atleast 6 pages.
Something record breaking that happens to a fellow brit and its not football related should make headlines and get the backing and encouragement thats deserved.
