Last October I flew from Bahrain to Singapore in the C1’s spare crew seat, and was lucky enough to get in the flight deck as we flew all the way across India, and then to top off my Birthday at the top of decent I was aloud to ‘sit up front’ and take pictures as we landed at Changi.
It may also help if your girlfriend is the Senior On-board Chef!

I completely disagree with you…. as the only places where the sun shines 24 hours a day is in the polar regions.

The mirrors which line up the two red lines to check if the landing gear is down were completely covered in muck and he said they hadnt been cleaned for at least a month. Two years ago I had a business trip and I flew Ryanair, Stanstead to Pisa. I cant remember which aircraft but it had gaffer tape down the port side! The flight back on their ‘Jaguar’ a/c wasnt too exciting either as the tyres were flat which made the landing a little too spongy to be safe…… Never again
