Ive just spent most of this week in Bahrain, and to put it in perspective…. when I got out of the terminal at 0645 it was already 92*f! ….. and it got much hotter during the day but as I was sunbathing I didnt have a thermometer.
Im feeling very sleepy
Trust a yank to dissagree with the facts. Then again everything in the States has to be bigger and better :p (so they think)
Although I am 85 miles from LHR my house is directly under some of the trans-atlantic flight paths. Some a/c are easier to spot than others, like the large Beoings, but the sight of Concorde every night is still loverly.
Bristol is a stones throw away too, so I often see a/c on approach for there.
When Im sat here on this damn PC (still aint learnt were off button is), I am looking out the window and can watch the comings and goings at RAF Lyneham and see all sorts of a/c. This will be sadly missed from 2007!!
That was quick Andy, I knew I could count on you to get it right
The Island I am going to is ‘Veligandu’ and I cant wait
I cant wait till Feburary when I get to fly on a EK777 then change for a seaplane to take me and misses to a remote Maldives Island!
It does look good, although a little odd on a new a/c

My only concern with EK is the comfort. They have 10 abreast on the 777 😮

Radio One for me…. I hate commercial radio and will never listen to any of it.
If anyone at work borrows / uses my van and changes stations, I leave them strict instructions to change it back before I drive it again.

Im just me and very unique.
I have the same password for every site I use, emails, forums and stuff. Every 2 – 3 months I change my password just in case, but sometimes it gets a pain in the arse changing it on every site I need it

I thought it was Dornier’s new design for VTOL, as thats really a Helium balloon.
It works the same way as the V-22 Osprey but this has an internal tank which houses the gas, on level flight, the balloon shrinks into the tank. And the a/c flies normally.
I may have to change it from confirmed to un-confirmed, depends on what flight my misses comes in on, if it the saturday evening flight I can make it, if its the Friday flight I dont think she would be too pleased. I will only know when her roster comes out for next month. If I can make it it wont be till 1 – 2 pm
I will do my best
EK are also starting a third daily service into LGW, 4 months ahead of schedule. It already flies to LHR 3 times a day, and also once to MAN
