I purchased Julys copy in Bahrain and it cost me 3.500 Dinar which is about £5.70!!
Stupid thing is I have hardly opened it whilst I was there.
Incidently the chef you see in the Gulf Air line is Craig and he is Austrailian, his photo is used in most press releases about the new chef service.

My first flight was when I was 18 months old coming back from Singapore in a RAF VC10. My Dad was RAF and I was born there.
My first memory of flying was when I was 5 back in ’78 and it was a Dan Air Hawker Siddley HS-748 from Southampton to Jersey, I am trying to find the pic I took. I have had to look up the aircraft in my books and im sure it was a HS-748

mikeconnell MyTravel last March-April, Gatwick – Bergamo and back.

I had the same experience with MyTravel from Bristol to Tennerife on a B757 last year.
They have packed so many seats into the a/c It was so uncomfitable. I am 6ft and 17 stone and my legs during the flight were hurting so much it felt like my knees were near my ears. I couldnt move them without nudging the seat infront. My g/f is 5ft 3 and she couldnt move her legs either.
I had to pay extra for the food which was dire and the staff just wanted to get the flight over with ASAP.
The in-bound flight to Bristol wasnt any better, and the pilot planted the a/c on the runway so hard, some of the overhead lockers flipped open! He even said on the comms as we were taxing that, and this is his quote….”Sorry about the landing, it wasnt my best, and by no means was it my worst!”
I wont be flying MyTravel again.

From what I can make out, the DC10 was/is owned by Skyservice USA, it still has the Airtours c/s with Suntrips titles, operated by Ryan International.
Im sure if you look hard enough you may be able to find the Partridge in the pear tree! 😀

This is also there, DC10 N57-1RY, it has all 3 engines removed.
Again I have had to ‘blow’ this up as it was too far away from where I was.

It is to stop this from happening.
If I remember correctly it was due to the tanks being fuelled in the wrong order, or not transferred for even weight distribution.

Smoking does happen on flights, but the crews wont say anything because its against the Capt and/or FO.

i go to dorcan tech colege which is not the best secondary school in swindon which du u go 2 wooton basset secondary?

Its not a very good advert for modern schools.
“When-I-were-a-young-lad” mobile phones hadn’t been invented so everyone wrote in English and not in text, oh my God I sound like my Dad.

Then again back in those days a summer holiday meant a long weekend stuck in a caravan in Bournmouth!!

If you can afford to fly first class anywhere, then Im surprised you wern’t sent to decent school to teach you how to write in proper English
