Obviously its a low funded airline as they only have enough paint for the logo….
Sorry guys, I know Im being biassed but to me this new livery beats the rest.
Sites like airliners.net and others understand these problems. As they dont pay for any photos they show, then technically there is no copyright. This is why they put there advert under each photo. It works as I went onto a site that I didnt know was there. You sometimes find a site which puts a water mark onto the pic and the only way to remove this is to pay for it and this is the copyright.
Gulf-Air is also planning on flights to Oz, you will (if the plan comes into action) fly from Heathrow, stop at either Bahrain, Abu Dhabi or Muscat, although more likely Bahrain then onto Sydney.
They will probably add another stop, HK or Singapore.
Fair play to Branson, I hope it works for him and takes BA’s hold off the flights.
Cheers Andy,
My main interests are military but I am slowly converting to the pond-hoppers. I dont think any of my military pics will be shown as millions of pics have been taken and the competition is hard, but my civil aircraft might make the grade
Nice pics Andy,
I have sent a couple of pics to Airliners.net and I will have to wait and see if any have been accepted
Fair play to the Ruskies.
If you lot remember BA changed the image across its fleet so it could ‘modernise’. Some people liked (and still do) the new livery but in general it was a bad move for BA. The fact that Aeroflot has decided to change its aircraft from the old Tups, Ils and Ants to western aircraft will make more commercial sense than dropping the Hammer and Sickle.
I for one would like to see the H&S for many years to come
I would of but the amount of %£$£ I would of wanted to dump on Paris would of blocked the loos

This is from last week ( 3rd April ) on my way back from Bahrain. I had been visiting my Girl-friend and as she is senior crew for Gulf-Air I get to fly on a 90% discount.
The aircraft is an Airbus 330-243 and we were at 35,000 ft over France on our way to Heathrow.
Incidently my G/f was flying 20 mins behind us on the flight from Abu Dhabi.

12 hours….
In Portugals Faro airport the Monarch 757 that was due in ran into a gantry at Gatwick, so they had to wait for the flight that left Faro before ours to get home, load up with the passengers that were delayed at Gatwick and then fly out to us.
