I think sheffield is just too close to many other regional airports all in the mass struggle to get new routes and increase passenger throughput and profits.

Nearby (theoretically) we have Leeds, East Midlands, Humberside, Manchester(maybe not so regional), Teeside, Blackpool etc… (oh and the proposed Doncaster airport) Sheffield tried to start up where there was simply not enough demand. Oh well…hopefully things will pick up for them….as long as they keep of the Leeds Bradford PAX!!

Oh no! this is not good. I too like the current JMC image. whenever i hear the letters ‘JMC’ i think of the airline…recognition problems…yeh right! (well maybe not for us plane spotters)

I hope its not a recurrence of the B737 rudder problems.

Boeing were investing millions of $s in modifying the tails and rudders on new release aircraft wern’t they?

The ‘low costers’ display the odd low fare here and there so that they can be classed as a ‘low fares airline’….most of the time they’re just charging as much as anybody else. How the hell would they make money? Its one big con! How can any airline be classed as ‘low cost’…they’re simply and airline with a few special offers!

I was thinking the same thing Mongu. I think the incident in the AFM forum contributed greatly, but i’m not entirely sure why we havnt seen the Ja man about. Glenn has left aswell hasnt he?

Nice one Kab. Kai Taks pretty popular with pics…the fantastic approach is great though, almost unphotographable…shame it closed, i’d have loved to have flown into there one day.
