    Yes, the DC-10s are mainly used on high density short/medium haul routes(Spain/Greece etc…) I’ve seen them at KOS, Palma and Rhodes.

    The Transatlantic routes are flown mainly by the A332s which have gradually taken over from the 767s.

    I’ve just had a quick look and its brilliant…thanks V1.

    Its got airline base frequencies and flight codes….as well as the actual fleet info (and that is very detailed)….its got the lot!!

    I saw an advertisment here i the UK for airport staff with Vigin blue at Brisbane. Perhaps Virgin Blue will have positions availble for Ansett staff.

    Has anyone read the Air accident Investigation (AAIB) web site? The official CAA crash reports are very interesting.

    I fester in Ripon, North Yorkshire. Somwhere in between RAF Leeming…Leeds Bradford and Teeside! There is always somthing flying overhead…(a plane I mean!)

    I agree with T5, I took some shots of Tenerife Airport from the window of an AIH A320…you really get to feel the proportion of everything…especially with the wing in shot!

    It has been brought up in the forum very recently how nice SAA’s colours are. The plans of keeping the tail would, I think, be a good idea!

    Is’nt it stange how a lot of the airlines seem to be considoring or actually changing their colour schemes at the moment? KLM , AIH, MON, BY, SAA, Delta etc…. perhaps a fresh change for the new century!

    Hey, I know someone who last year booked a flight from Manchester to Paris CDG with Air France.

    They arrived at the airport to find Air France had suprisingly gone on strike!

    They were then told they had been transferred to another airline for the flight to CDG.

    It turned out to be a B747-400 of Singapore Airlines! How about that for the best bit of luck in the aeroplane loving world!!! The SQ 744 was making a shedueled stop at CDG en route to none other than Singapore.

    So…Try booking a flight to Paris with SINGAPORE AIRLINES!!!

    The EMB 145 is an extremely successfull a/c. It dominates movements with BMI at my local-Leeds Bradford. They have just announced a new 145 service linking LBA with Cork.
