    Those 707s are old (obviously).

Anybody know anything about ‘Thai Flying’? I’ve never heard of them.

I’m not questioning general safety, its the number of people that would be onboard if somthing went wrong.

This was brought up with the 747 and as we’ve seen, most of the larger scale accidents (the larger death tolls) have involved 747s due to the large amount of PAX onboard, e.g Pan-am @ Lockerbie, Air India of the west coast of Ireland, Singapore Airlines @ Thailand etc…

The A380 being the largest @ 555seats would be a terrible accident IF somthing were to go wrong.

RE: JMC Newcastle – Corfu Summr 2002

Well I can settle everyone’s thoughts on this topic. I worked on JMC a/c @ NCL last July.

It will be a 752 definately.

Last year JMC based 752 G-FCLD @ NCL. I think there were talks of having 2 752’s @ NCL this year-not sure though. (definately 1 of them)

    Have a good flight!

It’s a good idea in terms of moving more passengers with the same or less a/c movements, (which is ideal for somewhere like LHR). But if somthing were to go wrong (e.g a crash), the outcome would be catastrophic.

I have’nt flown on the EMB145, but a family member has. (MAN-AMS with BA regional) They stressed how impressed they had been with the flight and the leg room inparticular.

Not sure whether this pleases you or not but my 2nd fav. airline is QANTAS. How are their domestic operations going after the Ansett demise?

    RE: AIR BAND RADIOS

    Hi Andrew,

I have a Radioshack pro-60 and as with EGNM’s scanner, it has been everywhere with me and has encountered no problems. Somthing simple such as this is all that you need.

Best thing to do is to vist a specialist aviation shop where thay could advise you on the latest models…specifications…PRICE…etc… They should be-able to give you the right radio for the right job.

    Try http://www.airsupply.com

Boeing do need to come up with some NEWER ideas. What do we all think about the sonic cruiser? I hear the cabin interior has just been selected from a colaboration of B777 material.

Well T5, I supose it was a hint. no, not really…I wouldnt be that cheaky!

When you try to pass Gatwick security simply inform them that you are a dustbin man coming to collect all the unwanted Airtours material.
    Its sure to work.
