Maybe we should consult airport security of such places as the Egypt/Israel border area. I have a family member who has just returned from Ovdah and claims it took an extra two hours than usual to pass all the security measures!

This may not be realistic in the States or the UK, but talk about strict security. (Well I supose its only expected there.)

I am a fan of the airbus family, the A319 being one of my favourites. I worked on them with BA Engineering at NCL last summer-brilliant a/c.

Beautiful!!! I have video footage of a BAe146 in exactly the same position landing on 08R @ Gatwick. Fantastic little plane…..a ‘mini Jumbo’!!!

Well if its not runway 23/05 then it must be 27R/09L your thinking of.

27L/09R is closest to Terminal 4.
