I watched Airport Live and I was not impressed, it was just a rehash of things done before in Airport and the many reality programs about airlines.
The maintenances bit were the best and very interesting.
I agree it will be a short grounding, but better to ground than risk passenger’s.
Nothing more than changing batteries.
BBC are reporting that the FAA have grounded all US operated 787’s due to fire risk, how long before the ban is worldwide.
and now JAL have grounded there 787’s
Sky reporting that All Nippon have grounded all there 787’s

Another emergency landing, how long before they are all grounded for checks, reminds me of the time they grounded DC10’s
I don’t think it’s started yet, but it could be interesting.

I expect the danger aspect will be overplayed, just a touch 🙂
A new series of Ice Pilots starts this Sunday too (30th)
I have the first 6 ep’s already,
I have most of Ice Pilots too, there out there if you want to watch them now. 😉
I agree that it looks bad on Ryanair, but O’Leary will see this and see how many bothered to respond and think so what.
I also agree that a survey on such small number is complete rubbish.
If the survey had been a bit more detailed, then maybe this could of been taken more seriously.
But the number of people that responded is miniscule compared to the numbers carried.
This is a bit from the Sky story.
The most popular short-haul airline was Swiss, with an overall score of 82% and a maximum five-star score on a number of the rating categories.
These included check-in process, baggage allowance, seating allocation and airline staff.
Second in the table was Turkish Airlines with a score of 78%, with German carrier Lufthansa third, Aer Lingus fourth and KLM fifth.
Only airlines which received at least 30 responses were considered.
Swiss’s results were based on 59 responses, Turkish Airlines on 38, Lufthansa 74 and Aer Lingus 65.
Ryanair’s results were based on 563 responses. In 15th place was Thomas Cook Airlines with a score of 36%, with Thomson Airways 14th on 45% and Monarch 13th with 47%.
How the hell can you come top of a poll with only 59 responses
WOW that would look fantastic 😀
In general an aeroplane is not an environment for any child under the age of around 5 or 6.
As another poster has mentioned there are plenty of holiday destinations within reach by car which will only involve pain for the parents and other siblings of the little darling.
Taking babes in arms on holidays by air is pathetic and tantamount to child abuse.
What a crock of **** , so just because people choice to have kids they should not take a holiday to the place of there choice.
Do the opinions of people that have not flown for 3 months not count ??
Season 2 is excellent , they do some stuff at Coventry and find a CL415 in South America.
I was at work 10 miles away and did not see a drop of rain all day.
Nice pics

Why is it wrong ?
If you have an opinion about it , and you do , please tell us why it is wrong.
Personally I think it is very funny.
