    There are so many.
One of my fav’s is at the start of one of the films, when Dad picked up the horse dung and patted it down with his hands and then went on to eat his butty .

    Quite right, David.

Sadly, Ryanair seem to have forgotten that market forces cut both ways.

The distances aren’t really the issue.

Less-than-stellar rail services and some of the busiest and most congested roads in the country are the issue.

You’re not kidding getting to Leeds by train or car from Manchester is not easy.
I can see Liverpool getting the best of this ,there is a coach that runs from and to both airports and the train is passable, the road is ok so long as the Runcorn bridge is ok.

fair enough…my bad for over reacting.

I just see Hendrix as a musicians point of view, and the man was nothing short of a genius.

no not at all , like you said you reacted has a musician ,dont see anything wrong with that.

    what utter rubbish!

Hendrix pioneered electric guitar with many different styles of playing. For example the intro of Little Wing with the arpeggio chords or the iconic use of the wah pedal on Voodoo Child. Not to mention his use of tube amps with gain based over drive created a very signature tone.

    Why is it rubbish?
Hendrix is not to everybodys taste and he has an opinion has to his music.
I happen to think that Hendirx was vastly over rated and was only good for letting his guitar produce lots of feedback.
Yes he might of been good at used peddles and tube amps , but because I have no idea what they are or what they are used for , it means nothing to me , I can only comment on his music and that I found boring and really not very good.
This will shock the musician on here and for that Iam sorry ,but thats what I think.

I thought the second test was one of the best I have ever seen.
Thought Strauss had blown it with not inforcuing the follow on , but I was proved wrong.
Thought he was a bit to late with the declaration 526 was far to much to give them.
Flintoff was our star bowler , can out pumped up and wanting to take wickets ,which he did .
In fact the first hour all the bowling was tight and on line, but Clark was up to it ,untill he was out they had a chance .
Still dont feel that Strauss is the right capt for us,he still made a few mistakes.
SKY Sports is reporting that KP and Flintoff and poss not going to make the 3rd test which will be a massive blow for us.
Will settle for 3 draws now and take back the Ashes , but I think the Aussie’s may win the next one , even more so poss wth out Flintoff and KP ,but the 4th will be ours and 5th drawn.
