They got beat cos France were the better team and they trid to cheat there way to the final.
The referee was not the best I have seen but i thought he was fair to both teams

I was watching the match on BBC abd for once I agree with Alan Hanson and Shearer that FIFA has to to do something about teams that only want to cheat and fall over for no reason
Come on the dive Ronaldo did in the first half would not been out of place in a Olympic diving comp , not only him all the team did it and the manager was just as bad wanting bookings and fouls when there was none there.
Yes I have to agree there is some sour grapes there,but for a team to go out in a World Cup semi and play the way they did ,they should be ashamed of themselves
It was the worst advert for football I have seen for a long time and makes FIFA’s fair play stance look like a joke when they do nothing about it
