Portugal might as well play the game in a swimming pool ! 😉

They could alsways ask for a nice soft carpet to be put down ,so that it cushions there falling over or even flack jacket’s for protection from the sniper’s that will be in the crowd :dev2: 😎

Before we move on from last night’s game, let’s not forget the contribution of the referee.

He played a major part in making it such a great match.

Agreed the referee was excellent last night, let the game flow and did not blow up for everything and for once the player’s respected this and just got on with the game and played football, and did not try to get fake pens or other player’s sent off :diablo:
Lets hope the same happens tonight 🙂 somehow I doubt it :dev2:

Just heard on Fox News they have launched three missiles in tests today.

Apparently they don’t think the first two are of the ICBM type, so no worry there, but they aren’t sure about the third although I think I heard they said the third one failed in flight….not sure what that means though.

Obviously this is just some sabre rattling by Pyongyang so how should we respond?

When I say we I mean the international community….not just the United States.

What can we do about it?
Maybe get the UN to pass some sanctions on them, but do they work?
They dont seem to have done anywhere else.
North Korea have been saying for ages that they will test there missiles and to hell what the international comunity think.
They know that nobody is going to take action against them. Can you for one minute think that there will be a coliliton force like there was for Iraq,It will never happen.
I dont confess to being well up on international politics, but like the Iran situation ,we will just have to put up with it and hope that the idiots dont get control of the missiles
Would the UN ever sanction air attacks over this or for that matter the Iran situation, and risk the Russian’s or in the N Korea case the chinesses getting involved

I do believe that the only two players viable for the role of Captain for the UK football team would be Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard.

Lampard 😮 does not have the leadership skills need,in the World Cup he was nly intrested in trying to score and wasted quite a few good chances for others to score. 😡

    Terry? Pah! :p

Of the current crop of players, the only man for the job is Gerrard – and that’s coming from a Man United fan.

I have to admit it was a close thing for me ,but I think Terry would be better IMHO he has more of a presence and contols the game better. :diablo:
