i know its kind of sad but my dad has been on an MYT A330 with toilets down stairs amd he did say there was a seat there where you could stretch out while waiting, he also had a chat with a trolly dolly for a while as there is a galley there too i think, but i don’t think he joined the mile high club!!!

mmm maybe tommyinyork is not that daft after all :dev2:

I’d expected more replies like that.
I have never in 62 years seen my Dad cry,not even at funerals or the death of beloved pets.I don’t know how ( or why ) he does it.
Personally I never watch animal films because I’d be blubbing all the way through. What gets me reaching for the tissues is the scene in Mama Mia where Meryl Streep sings Slipping through my fingers as she helps her daughter get ready on her wedding day.
Oh,and the bit where Aragorn bows to the Hobbits.

But hearing Meryl Streep singing is more than enough to make a grown man cry 😀

so would the price of repainting the planes, changing check in desks and buying uniforms, all be written off as corporate spending

if it was to happen it would cost millons ,and would they allow then to fly with the easyjet name till they was all painted.
What would the cost be ?,repainting ,rebrainding at many airports ,new uniforms , ground equip , would have to be in the 10’s of millions.
I would be a massive undertaking and IMHO I dont think it would come out of it too well

I thought Manchester Airport was owned by Manchester Airport plc?

As usual with these people, they will suffer no serious consequences from their actions. Even though there message is noble, the execution leaves lots to be desired.

Yes true but Manchester Airport PLC is owned by all the councils within Greater Manchester.

    Manchester City Council – 55%
Metropolitan Borough of Bolton – 5%

    Two thoughts

    Thank god Brown’s finally gone.

What does a Deputy PM do (other than pie-eating, riding around in a fleet of Jaguars and knocking off his secretary)?

    Moggy

In this case it is more than likley a job in title only and to apease Nick Clegg ,he cant really have any power can he.?
God forbid that anything happens to Cameron and he is left in charge 😮
