The reason Canada is buying the C-17s is to acquire the ability to deliver Tim Horton’s mobile restaurant by itself everywhere around the world where Canadian troops are serving:

As an American studying air power and strategic studies in Canada i often use Tim Horton as a humorous example of Wardens Five Ring model… It is the critical COG in Canadian life, you can take Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal, but bomb the Timmys and you hit the critical node. The response i get from Canadian audiences concerning this is often funny as well, half nearly die falling off thier seats from laughter, the other half are very quiet…. Interesting…

i love the Crusader.. one of the best looking American fighters ever made.. when was the last US F-8 retired.. the Phillipines also operated them for a while i think.. 🙂
