It is called using the “reply with quote” option found in the software. It is probably out of your intelligence level, hence the reason you can’t fathom it.

    >Also, one more thing. I didn’t back up my opinion. You never
    >knew them to be awful. Why? You didn’t tell us.

You statement does not make sense, you need to lay off whatever you are smoking.

    >Your immmaturity certainly shows referring to my rating and
    >remark as a crybaby remark. Looking at it from a different
    >angle, I could have put it as a negative rating, but I
    >didn’t.

I think you are reffering to yourself. Yes, you are immature. You seem to have a hard time understanding what “opinion” is and YES you are a crybaby.

    >Practise what I preach? “I’d have to disagree with that
    >also”, that’s MY OPINION. I did not use large segments of
    >your postings and disect them, which is what you’re doing to
    >me.

Sheeesh. Seems like you need to go to school and learn the language a bit more. Okay, I will explain it step by step. You gave your opinion, and I gave mine. Understood? Now, if I got personal with you or slandered you in anyway or I was disrespectful then you have a right to complain. Understood? If you go back and look at my post you will see that I did none of the above. Get it? You have a right to your opinion and I have a right to mine. You seem to have missed that. Yes, you need to practice what you preach, because when you accused me of not respecting your opinion (which was BS), you replied back saying “waaaaaaaah, eveyone’s picking on me!!!” And thus, YOU ended up getting upset because I gave you my opinion.

    >And as for trying to make me seem like the culprit in this
    >minor mess-up, you can think again.

Yes, smoking dope does that to you. Where you think it is my fault when it is actually you who got into a temper tantrum and made a mockery of yourself.

    >I started this because I
    >felt it was impossible to put my views across without
    >someone picking me up for my actions

You started this because you are maybe in the wrong forum. You should probably go to a forum for toddlers. Maybe people will start taking your views seriously when you start acting like an adult. Also I didn’t know saying “never knew them to be awful” was picking on you. Waaaaaaaaahhhhh, mommmeeeeee, everyone’s picking on me!!!

    >That’s the point I’m trying to put across – everyone’s
    >opinion deserves respect and not to be destroyed by other
    >members of the forum.

Explain to me how I was destroying your opinion when all I said was “never knew them to be awful.” How is that disrespectful?

    >What I don’t like about the way Serendib approaches the
    >situation is by copying and pasting sections of the post and
    >tearing it to pieces.

Copying and pasting and tearing it to pieces???????????

    >Yours is not an opinion but a
    >straight-forward disagreement. It’s not an opinion. Don’t
    >reply to a post when I’ve said something is awful by saying,
    >”Never knew them to be awful”.
    >Simply say you’d have to
    >disagree.

I never knew that saying “never knew them to be awful” was not an opinion. So you would rather have me say “I disagree” than say “never knew them to be awful”???? Anyhow, even if I straight forwardly disagreed what is wrong with that?

    >You have opinions, I havepinions, we all have
    >opinions and we are entitled to share them without being
    >made to feel like idiots by other members.

I know you have a opinion. It seems like you were offended by my opinion. How did I make you look like an idiot? Actually, you made yourself look like an idiot with your behavior.

    >are picked up for expressing opinions?!
    >
    >Think about it…?!!

You think about what you just stated. All I said was that “I never knew Iluyshin and Tupelov to be awful.” Which I think is a valid statement considering your choice of the word “awful,” which is a negative remark that you have not backed up with any reason. Now, how was that picking on you? Did I even get personal with you? I have an opinion and I gave it. Was that enough to warrant a cry baby remark from you and follow it up with a neutral rating? You need to practice what you preach!

    Saab,
A landing strip in the middle of a mountain does not constitute as an airport. Also, there are numerous (too many to count) airports in the world that are located over 6000 feet. The highest altitude commercial airport in the world is in Bangda, Tibet at an altitude of 14,219 feet(4,334 meters).

You don’t need to empathize or sympathize with America or Americans in a superficial way. You say you want to break down crying??? he he he he he. Wake up and be man for god’s sake. Take your rubbish to some islam propaganda site. This is for aviation matters only.

    Dear Cry baby,
Why don’t you take your emotional girlie stuff elsewhere huh? This is a forum for aviation matters, not for us to hear your life experiences or your parent’s experiences or what you are doing with your life. Please schedule an appointment with a shrink and don’t bother us again.

LAST EDITED ON 28-07-01 AT 09:57 PM (GMT)[p]Colombo airport re-opened for all international traffic (There is a temporary ban on private traffic) on Thursday July 26th.

The adjoining SLAF base does use the same runway at Katunayake and the premier No.5 Jet Squadron and No.10 Fighter Squadron are based there. More often than not, the aircraft are parked inside the base hence the reason you didn’t see them.

    RE: Sri Lanka in shock!

    Here is a recap.

    1 A330 completely destroyed

    1 A340 completely destroyed

    1 A330 undercarriage destroyed

    2 A320 partially damaged

    3 Kfir C2 completely destroyed

    1 Mi-24V completely destroyed

    2 K-8 Karakorum completely destroyed

    1 Bell 412 completely destroyed

    1 MiG-27 partially damaged

Sri Lankans should learn from the Israeli’s on how to deal with these terrorists, after fighting a war for 18 years on would imagine that they would have learnt something by now. The fact that the rebels penetrated the perimeter defences is unforgivable. The person responsible for airport security should be up against the wall by now with a shooting squad taking
aim. Lethargy and unprofessionalism will always be the prime reason terrorists always win. The terrorists are the ones who are dictating the war now, the SLAF has to drive fear in the terrorists, razing the northern province to the ground should do
    the trick.

If you don’t know, then there is nothing to think is there? Read my posting sometime ago titled “The best airport in the world”. You obviously haven’t travelled anywhere, except to some piddly-ass airports around the world and then you are disagreeing with things you don’t know about or you have no facts about.

What do you mean ” I think they should have seen some airports like the new one in Arabia(dont know exactly where).”
You don’t think the people who did the ratings travelled to other airports around the world?

In my posting which was my opinion with my travelling experience I have listed Singapore Changi, Dubai UAE and Chep Lap Kok Hong Kong as the top 3 airports in the world.

Like I said before, your postings are full of unintellingent rubbish.

    Kabir,
You seem to have your head up your ass!! If you want to know something about aviation, post it; or if you have interesting info about aviation, post it.

But, please don’t post bullshit, uncomprehensible teenage ##### on this forum. You really don’t seem to know much about aircraft or aviation at all.

What type of a question is this? How the hell can you call some aircraft beautiful and others ugly? Then you say all Chinese aircraft are ugly? You call the A-6 an ugly aircraft?

Thank goodness you have stopped posting on the AFM forum, we were getting tired of your stupid questions. Maybe you should stop posting on this forum as well. All your questions should be posted in a Kindegarten forum.

And also go to school and learn to spell, atleast for our sake.
