As for free coffee, helicopters and lying snow? (all the right topics but not necessarily in the right order!!)

Currently there’s a need to be wary of the weather forecasts! Here in Nottingham we have a light covering of melting snow and clear blue skies – perfect conditions to get some reflected up-lighting onto those aircraft undersides!
However I’m told that over in Newark there is no snow and it is foggy. Not very good conditions for helicopters – although a Robinson did come in yesterday and was noted in the Low Flying Log! 😉
What next week holds who knows, if we get the snow that is being talked about, and with the predicted traffic situation re-the agricultural event; then NAM may struggle to open up! Although that could present a few issues for any helicopters that do make it to Newark as the passengers would have to climb a few fences or ford a watercourse!!
