All sofa adverts are cheap, nasty and tacky.

If your in the market for a new sofa look elsewhere other than the big chains. I have just bought from the local family run place.

Buy anything from DFS and you would be DFS (Downright Frickin Stupid).

Having heard him sing he does have a tremendous voice and does the songs well, although he does not have the stage presence of Freddy Mercury.

Although from the onset the remaining members of Queen and Paul have alsways stated that he is not a replacement for Freddy. They are now ‘Queen – Featuring Paul Rogers’. I never ever got to see Freddy sing live so Im really looking forward to seeing the band in Liverpool soon, doing what they always intended doing in keeping the songs alive.

Its nice to be able to have a drink while in the air but the events in Madrid yesterday show the importance of sobriety whilst flying as a passenger. How the hell can you get out of an aircraft in an emergency if your drunk. Not ony are you puting yourself at risk but those around you in the event of an emergency.

I hope that more airlines start to manage the amount of alcohol thats drunk onboardsimilarly the airports should inform the airlines in they see someone knocking them back before flight.

I also hope that more airlines take civil action against those who force a diversion for being drunk and recover the extra fuel costs, airframe hours, staff wages etc of a diversion.

He will probably recieve yet another pinko punishment as nowadays it seems that anyone aged under 21 cannot be stigmatised as a criminal. Maybe growing some eco friendly garlic at multicultural peace and harmony commune for a weekend will rehabilitate him.

Send him to Kabul so that our snipers can hone their skills I say.

Flem KLM MD11 Amsterdam to Memphis and back in 1999. Comfy seats, having a row of 3 to myself each way. These were the days however before individual IFE units so it was quite a squint to see the overhead screens. KLMs long haul service at the time was superb. Great take off performance on the MD11, enjoy.

Unfortunatly a house fire cost me all my logs and most of my pictures of the trip.

Im suprised that GAF are going to restart the Nomad line as it had a reputation for being incredibly unreliable and expensive to operate.

To me the aircraft looks like a stretched Shorts 360. The Shorts are now showing their age and are in need of replacement by the cargo carriers that operate them. From the blurb on the website the ability to quickly roll containers on and off will be a big bonus. Also as a pure built freighter there will be fewer compromises when compared to pax converted freighters.

    Is this the DC3 replacement?

My wife and I are due to fly to Faro in Febuary next year. Easyjets flights were not bookable at the time of booking from luton so we had a look at Ryanair from Stanstead.

The flights were extremley cheap, but then with all the tag-ons that Ryanair ask you to pay (cushon for your **** Sir, thats £4.50 each way, flush the loo, thats £1.50) it worked out that BA ex Gatwick were cheaper.

Now that you have pulled yourself up off the floor after passing out in shock consider this. With all the extras Ryanair make you pay on top of the basic ticket price; unless you are really lucky and get an early 1p flight can the really be called a lo-co anymore?

I could be ignorant of some facts here, but my basic understanding was that the PR.9s were operated on our behalf and then ‘gifted’ to the Chilean Airforce as thanks. Also wasn’t there Seakings ops from within that country.
I’m sure Thatch could have rustled up support from the region if absolutely needed.

Re Chilean support does anyone know of tails of Leuchars based F4s being sent to Chilie ready for use if the conflict progressed further into the Winter Months?

Beluga 5TF is all white, usually a bit grey and dirty. If viewed from the rear 3/4 then the large supplimental stabilisers on the tailplanes could appear as large winglets. This view would also over-exagerate the hump of the cargo hold. 5 is the most frequent of all Belugas to Hawarden for some reason too.
