A square loop is exactly as it sounds, instead of the standard loop manoeurvre, it is flown as four sides (sort of) – hence the ‘square’ loop phrase…

Sorry, can’t help with which is best, don’t use them myself, its a case of just trawling through them until you find one thats best for you.

There are several sites offering real-time flight tracking. just type ‘flight tracking software’ into google and hey presto! Alternatively, if you’ve got money burning a hole in ya skyrocket try, SBS-1 or the Airnav Radar Box…

I remember reading somewhere (Airliner World?) that they are now going to focus on long-term leasing aircraft to other carriers only, scheduled services are no longer part of their business model.

I think an F-4F (representative of latest Phantom standard) with current turbofan engines and 1990ies avionics (incl. cockpit) would still be a tough contender on the battlefield.

Surely the Greek PI 2000 or Turkish F-4E 2020 are more representitive of the latest standard of F-4 upgrades?

Regardless though, happy birthday to a truly magnificent aircraft, I wonder how many of the ‘Teen Series’ fighters or current generation aircraft will be able to boast such an amazing operational life, not many – if any – I’d wager….

    – must be a sluggish schoolbus, this machine. I’d expect every pilot quickly willing to switch to Lawndart after this experience, nevermind the boring looks 😉

    You and me, outside….NOW!!!;)

So the model is accurate not only in resembling the F-14’s dimensions, but also in modeling its enormous acquisition and operating costs.

Its was still better than the Sub-par Hornet!
