    Both approach and tower call it ‘east midlands’, as does practically every aircraft flying to/from the airport, with the possible exception of a few UPS crews – ‘Good evening Nottingham East Midlands, UPS 237…….’ – they should never changed it in the first place, idiots!

    GR4 = Bomber
    GR4A = Bomber/Recon

    The GR4A has two small sensor windows on either side of the fuselage forward of the air intakes and a canoe shaped fairing immediately behind the nose gear doors.
