Currently using a Nikon 5700 and I am very pleased with the results so far, however Pentax are about to launch the *ist DL, an entry level D-SLR which will ship with an 18-55mm lense for less than $800! Having always been a Pentax man until my current Nikon I will be taking a very close look at it when it arrives on these shores.
Toulouse bound Volga Dnepr An-124 full of Rolls Royce’s finest at EMA this evening had an extension granted to his original slot time, and then requested another slot time extension only to be told by the tower that because of the strike at the other end unless this further extension was approved he faced a three hour delay until the next available slot! Slot extension was approved and away he went, apparently the guy co-ordinating the slots at this end ‘knew somebody’ at the other end!
SteveO, IIRC the small pods to which you refer are carried in order to increase the Hawk’s radar signature, this helps new F.3 navs aquire them during PI’s.
