Exercise Nomad ’05 is already cancelled, and with the advent of the new type of ‘rangeless’ acmi pods you don’t have the limitations of a fixed range like the NSAR, I believe the debriefing facilities at Coningsby and Leeuwarden (the one at Lakenheath closed a while back) are to be dismantled so it looks like its definitely closing, also makes you wonder what will happen the AWC at Waddo (Thomson Building).
