I won’t be going to the games, but I am looking forward to seeing them on T.V., and good luck in your competition and the opening ceremony.

RadiO, thanks for the info, I was a little miffed when out of the blue they announced that the publication was no more, WAIF is a brilliant way of collecting info because using the individual page method that they use allows them to update specific articles without making an entire publication out of date, although I have to agree the mammoth filing sessions do get boring if you did’nt update weekly, if it really is back then thats excellent.

    RE: Where…

There’s a lot of civil jets at Mojave Airport, California and also Victorville, California, which used to be George AFB (where Phabulous Phantoms used to roost, sorry, got side tracked there for a moment), not sure whether public access is allowed, but I’m sure it probably is via prior arrangement. Hope this helps.

    RE: News flash!!!

Heard this anouncement earlier, strange that Go’s boss Barbara Cassani (spelling?), was on Radio Five Live a couple of weeks back and there was no hint that Go was in talks with EasyJet.

    Okay, here’s my guess:
    First pic – British Airways 757 ?
    Second pic – Ryanair 737 ?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-04-02 AT 09:46 PM (GMT)]Saw Oranjeboom in one of my locals, but did’nt order it in case I pronounced the name wrong, thus looking and sounding like a buffoon, one beer I will mention however is Titanic Wreckage, an ale which was only served in half pints because it was so strong, tasted like burnt rubber smells, if you see what I mean, truly wicked, have’nt seen it for ages thankfully.

I might have them mixed up Jim, the one I’m referring to is the one where they are underground with army officers, and a scientist befriends one of them and calls him ‘Bub’. Very gruesome.

    RE: Future of the 747

It would be a shame to see the end of 747 production, but all good things must come to an end and, the cold hard facts of economics dictate what is succesful in the financially reliant world of air travel and the 747 is hardly cheap to buy or operate, also Boeing has the old problem of internal competition in the form of the 777, much like Mc Donnell Douglas had with the F-4 when they introduced the F-15, although the F-4 still had great sales potential, the F-4 sales team were told to scale down sales efforts in case it took orders away from there new super fighter the F-15.
