Fsx needs Processor power and RAM.

My flightsim PC’s are always dedicated to FS. In other words, I don’t have lots of other random software running in the background, it will take a big toll on FSX performance, especially on an already marginal system.

Use msconfig to get rid of any rubbish running in the background, do a defrag and lower some of the setting in FSX. Alternatively just keep with a prior version of FS, they are much more forgiving, but the eyecandy is not a good.

I don’t know Andy or the circumstances around these events, other than the recent threads that I’ve read.

I’ve only been posting on here for a short time, but I have been a regular visitor to the forum over the last few years.

I’ve noted that this forum has friendly and helpful members, even to an apparent “newbie” like myself and the help and advice that I’ve already received is much appreciated.

Hopefully there will be a more pleasant outcome to all of this, rather than a number of people leaving the forum.
