OOOOOooooooooooo very sassy:)
Nice picture, the Forum seems to have gone TriStar mad!:p
Well it ain’t often these days you get to see these classic beauties at civil airports, especially the RAF bringing the boys n girls home from war 🙂
Ged oudda here!
It will be fun when the poles flip then won’t it. We’re overdue the flip by about a 100 years. Maybe it will be like the Millennium bug. A complete lie in order to sell/upgrade/pretend to correct the computers.Hey, I’m serious. Was it 06/24 at MAN or not?
Ooooh gawd…what have I started?!?!?!?
Now then…now you mention it, they were quite special planes. All them black smoke trails from the turbojet engines. The 1-11 is the one most special to me.:p
Sorry Stu, should have read it better. The DC10s were used on the original freight flights, and then they changed them to 737s. Dont know why.
Aaaahh no worries mate. 😉 Maybe it was just down volumes or they didn’t have the 3’s at the time.
Aeroflot Cargo still visit, ‘cept they use B737s
Yeah I know they use the 737’s now, I ve posted a picture of one but i never knew they used the DC-10’s beforehand, thought they might have been a special charter or something.
I use the same one and peeled after 2 days and now i got a pink mottled forehead:O
Nice pics btw:)
All cracking shots. I agree with the others on th BE DH8 and how you captured the prop effects, top notch.
(Note to self – must not post any FR’s….must not post any FR’s…)
Cracking, I’ll have to have a go at that effect myself. I had to look twice when I saw the Kalita fly over Mobberly on the approach. Whats the purpose of it’s visit this time round?
It was a at Manchester last week doing a TCX as well. You got to luv the TriStar, a truely unmistakeable aircraft. I can remember when Air Canada and British Airtours amongst a few operated them into Manchester many moons ago.
Wrong it had landed in hong kong, had the turn around and had taken off from HKG. It must of been like an hour and a half into the flight this incident happend.
If this had happend an hour away from landing in hong kong they would of landed in china.
The philippines is south of hong kong so this means that if they were an hour away from landing then they went the long way round, the very long way round. Unless your thinking of the other way round where it was heading to london and stopping in hong kong. Is that what you meant
Yep ya right there…..I think I must of had a blonde moment:eek:
Thanks mate.
No doubt the missus will want to be watching it….as women do – anything reality:rolleyes:
Nice pics. When did the Aeroflots visit and were they carrying anything special?
I Love that LS plane.
Could this possibly be a new livery for jet 2 in the futrue:diablo:
LOL, don’t think FGS would be happy with them hehehe.
Great pics.:)
Great shots. Is that a fleet number on the front wheel cover of the ZOOM instead of the Reg?
