What about the EMB-145, it can make LCA so is there a chance it can do Guernsey?
I remember the ex B-Cal DC-10 doing flights to the Caibbean in BA colours, the twice weekly 747 flight BA118 to Islamabad and a 747 cargo flight (can’t remember the destination). And was it the DC-10 that did NY before the 767 or was it a TriStar?
I was gonna post a question asking why an EK 777 was parked up remotely, no need now. What was the reg? I wonder how much total cost a logistic operation like that cost, just to ship in a spare engine? Will it be fitted at Monarch Engineering or Tommy Cooks, the later I know has an engine shop.
As much as I love flying, I still get the jitters before I get onboard.
These brainless fools will never learn. If the present ones are stopped then there will always be more idots who will take over and do it again. Alot of the youth n teenage gangs out there don’t have any regard for life at all. They don’t care about how it will effect other people. Not so long ago near me, a group of teenage boys was running from the police after a disturbance, and they ran right across the M60. One boy was hit 3 times by 3 cars at high speed. His “mates” didn’t seem to bother. What about the family of this boy, his other friends. What about the emergency workers who had to pick peices of this boy up off the carraigeway.
Total disregard for life. This was just one boy. Multiply that by the avarage sized passenger plane and that is a monster number of people unneccessarelly put through hell all because some emptyheaded kids thought it would be fun to shine a laserpen at an aircraft.
Ahh that could explain it then, optical illusion it is then. I never even gave that a thought.
Anbody any idea what the rejected take-off was caused by then (other than a noob pilot:p)
Is it my eyes or wasn’t the inboard engines running prior to T/O. Maybe something to do with that and running the engines up to temp and pressure properly before putting them under load. You just can’t start an engine and run it up to full power under load right away.
Yeah i would say cost is defo a factor and maybe traffic as well.
All cracking shots, the best one – beside the Cathy lifting spray – is the Air France just getting airbourne
All great shots, I like the different aspect in which they have been taken, nice to see something a little different now and again.
Ace shots all of them, can’t pick a fav. I’ve only been to the southside once but they wasn’t using 23L which was a shame. I was delivering my parcels northside when you was there coz i saw i few of them going up. I notice the Flightline MD83 has been painted up. Is it still doing flights for BMI BABY?
Thats a shame. It it another victim of the gobal financial cutbacks?
OMG!!! Did it get fixed or did the heat do too much damage to the structure?
Love em all Rob, certainly getting better all the time;)
Didn’t Janes buy a couple of the old Emerald stock?
